Survivor

This old man is one of two venerable stag who are mostly seen on "my" -   as opposed to "Max's" - side of the park. I am relieved to see that they have survived the recent cull.

All the deer I saw this morning were lying down because of the gusty wind that was swirling round the park.We were very lucky here. Spare a thought for the poor people up north who are struggling, their homes flooded and essential services disrupted as a consequence of Storm Desmond, and for the brave folk who are working around the clock to help them.
