Bakers Cottage

Pre Victorian times our village was little hamlet with a few cottages nestling  at the foot of the church.  On the left was the baker's cottage.  Its still called The High Street but there are no shops there any more.

A less strenuous walk today to the village shop (not in the High St!) and back but he had run out of currrants. Everyone must do doing their Christmas baking
