A fun day ..

in the midst of all the awful weather.  Today was a fun Bonspiel for the ladies' clubs at Lanarkshire ice rink.  It was sponsored by a potato company in Lanarkshire and the theme was potatoes.  We had Kerr's pinks, red roosters, jersey potatoes, King Edwards, tattie hawkers, royal potatoes and fries.  It was a very enjoyable day - but not for the ice man who had to clean the mess left by feathers and hessian sacks.
