Medieval

Went to Canterbury this morning to try and catch up with some Christmas shopping. This group were performing outside the Cathedral walls - the lady on the far left looked like it was all getting a bit much!

I also got caught up in the St Nicholas Parade. There was a guy carrying an umbrella that had an octopus on top of it, which wasn't really in the spirit of Christmas. I put a photo of it on Instagram earlier, and the young man under the umbrella contacted me to say that the teacher who had given them the project hadn't told them it was for a Christmas parade!!

Later on in the parade, the Archbishop of Canterbury threw coins down to the crowd from the balcony of Primark. Which I thought was rather ironic!
