Head For Higher Ground
This morning I found the rear parcel shelf for the Astra I traded in a couple of weeks ago.
I gave the garage a ring and they still have the car - so SWMBO and I headed off to Peebles to hand it over.
After that we went to have a hot drink and a bit of cake.
We noticed some closed roads and people hanging over the bridge looking at the Tweed.
So of course we had to have a look too.
The river was 'kind of high' - although it was going down and dropped about 1.5' in the hour and a half we were in town.

We left the town and came back along the banks of Loch Tweed.
Not as extensive as the new lakes in Cumbria (I see Pooley Bridge - the actual bridge - has been swept away) but still quite impressive.
