Vigilance

A 5mm long orbweb spider hides in a snow-in-summer flower, while monitoring an anchor thread of her web for signs of a catch. The hairy head and stripy legs suggest she is a native bush orbweb spider, Novaranea. If she is lucky enough to grow to adulthood she will double her size.
