Visitors!

(Storm) Desmond departed overnight to give us a beautiful day. Archie decided I should get up and take him out at the early (weekend) hour of 8am. I knew he was kidding, because we'd been out at the unusually late hour of 10pm the evening before. But was he kidding? I couldn't risk it. So on with the coat over the PJs and out for a swift turn around the block. And no, he wasn't desperate at all. Little sausage!

This afternoon we had a visit from LadyG and her Farmer, who are in Embra being tourists for the weekend - though Desmond rather dampened their enthusiasm... I do hope today made up for it.

We had a lovely afternoon of copious cuppas, comestibles and conversation. It was good to catch up with LadyG and to meet the Farmer at last.
