Noises from the SW Front

Ho Ho Ho

Went to the Parade of Lights, followed by the 59th annual lighting of the Tumbleweed Christmas Tree. The parade was mostly Boy Scouts, Cubs, Brownies and dance troupes, festooned with Christmas lights. Throw in a couple of high school marching bands and a very chilly looking belly-dancing troupe and that was it.
The town was jammed though. I guessed that, as it was a family event, the "before" crowd in the local boozers would have thinned out after the tree was lit. Guessed wrong. Went home to drink "free" beer.
