Walk The Line

Today's short stroll turned in to a 10.5 mile walk from Wivenhoe to Brightlingsea. We were completely unprepared for such adventures, but at least had a couple of garibaldi to keep us going. It was a beautiful day to spend wending along the coast, and having lived in this area on and off for most of my life, it was so nice to stumble across areas that I'd never seen before and scenery that felt foreign and exciting.

Our enthusiasm had waned slightly when we made it to Brightlingsea and couldn't find an obvious way home (loads of bus stops, no sign of any buses). A passing cab saved the day and we made it to the local tapas place for some amazing food, and an even better mohito.
