Flower!

On the 20th of June I blipped this summer trough with its slightly phallic column. This has doubled in size since then and as predicted by [iCabbagetree][/i] I now have a flower! but not on the big column,but on a tiny unnoticed arm which I have left in colour to distinguish it! I await the opening of the flowers ( another possible blip!).
Well today is the 1st of July and the farmers of old had a saying! "if the first of July it be rainy weather 'twill rain more or less for four weeks together" !!! Well I think we got away with it today, some very light and patchy drizzle, so hopefully harvest will not be set back antmore than the best guess to press of ten days later than normal!!
