Chillies

Most years the chilli tree survives over winter, but not always. The last one died late last year/earlier this year so we had to begin again from seed. This time around we have three plants in the hope that some will survive if not all. The late start means that these are the first fruits to turn red and most likely they wont be as hot as those that have ripened during previous summers. But here's hoping they survive the winter and that next year's crop is a classic. Certainly they are the closest thing to Christmas decorations that we will have.
