Home territory

Last night I became aware of three Oyster Catchers that took fright at my presence, flying over the rocks at low tide with their characteristic eerie piping. Today they were in the same area, and pushing the lens to it's limits managed to capture some images of them in flight. I continued to marvell that they are so much at home in their environment.
