Music on Mondays #5

Today a 9th grade lad performed three pieces for his fifteen minutes of Music on Mondays - Bach's Toccata in d minor, a piece by Fazil Say (Turkey's leading pianist/composer) and an instrumental version of a song from the musical "the Hunchback from Notredame". Very much enjoyed by all who came. 

In other news, my Studio Art class finished their self portraits and we exhibited them in the Theatre Foyer Gallery.  Today was another day of beautiful sunshine - but cold.  I got through the day - it wasn't an arduous one - but I can't believe how long this cold is hanging on - into its tenth day now, although I can feel that its days are numbered.....
