Apples and Oranges

Morning light

On my way to my practice (at a school for immigrants) this morning, a large puddle caught my eye and I had to stop. I only had my iphone with me, sadly.
A lot has happened since I stopped blipping a year ago. I've meet wonderful new friends when I participated in a project called 'Save Kobanê' - were we collected, sorted and packed clothes and other things, in 6 large lorries for the people of Kobanê in Kurdistan (Northen Syria) when Daesh tried to take the city. The project begun in November 2014 and we sent the last lorry in February 2015, when the project ended.
I tried to finish my master thesis, but failed. Still haven't finished but there's a deadline now. My supervisor is retiring in May next year.
In May I started my practice at the school were I've been since. I do a lot of admin stuff but I have also taught Swedish to a small group of students and been with other teachers in their classes. One of these classes is in the studio were there's painting, sewing and other crafts done. That is so much fun! :) I don't know yet if I'll continue at the school next semester. If I don't there'll be other places. :)
During one month this summer I also went back to the Red Cross, as a volunteer, when the school was closed for summer break. It was very nice to be back again, like I never left. :)
Long story cut very, well rather anyway, short.
