Can I warm up tonight?

Today has been uneventful. The family have been fighting off a nasty cold, my voice is going and the coughing at night is almost musical. We stayed off school and slept most of the day, only stepping out to walk the dog and grab some milk.

However, we are dry and safe. Our home and town is flood-free and we don't need to worry about power. So we may not quite have our health, but we have everything else.

Thinking of all those affected in the storm and hoping for a quick resolve.
