Christmas distorted

After almost a week of celebrations, life returned to normal today. I made my usual trip to Stamford, and spent my time walking round the town, looking at the various Christmas displays, though I wasn't tempted to buy anything. I ended up the river where I had one of the best views I've ever had of a kingfisher - unfortunately I didn't have the right lens!

After college, Ben and I went into Peterborough to change some jeans and I bought a Christmas jumper, which is apparently required wear at a forthcoming party. The rather futuristic Christmas tree does look a lot better when it's lit up - I may almost grow to like it...
