1941 Nickel...

Found this today in my change. Couldn't help but think of all the lives that have touched this coin. How about all the things that it helped to purchase. A candy back in the 40's, a pack of cigarettes in the 50's, found At the park and spent toward a daisy in the 60's, 8 track tape in the 70's, under the seat of a 1965 Mustang and used toward hair spray in 80's, neon t-shirt in the 90's, and in this century it was used as a pay back for a Harley Quinn lanyard I bought on Amazon for a coworker. Can you imagine trying to explain buying something from Amazon to someone during the 40's?

Oh the stories it could tell....

Late add on: today is Pearl Harbor Day...1941 I wonder whose pocket or purse this was in when they heard the news?
