Faith

I don't follow religion and yet I find myself rather moved by the offerings that are left at holy wells or the rags and ribbons adorning sacred hawthorn trees. These beads were left on the newly scrubbed Pieta on the pass from the north to the south side of the peninsula, I wondered about the prayer or wish of the person who left them there.
