Bearer of Bad News

Pets make a house a home, they make and shape families. And when you lose them it leaves a huge gap.  Driving down to the village tonight with Tess, we saw a pussy cat lying in the middle of the road.   We pulled over and stopped a kind lady for help and she kindly stopped the traffic to let me go see if it was okay, but it was gone. I picked up the beautiful cat and placed it under a tree and then let social media do its thing to try and track down the owners. Sure enough, the village connections started happening and they got in touch and sadly went to get their lost pussy cat.  My neighbours have had to bear similar news to me on more than one occassion, horrid job being the messenger. After losing Fergus Fish Finger to the road in August we wont be getting any more cats, too dangerous. And we just hope Thumper has the good sense to keep away from the road, 7 years he has so far, we want him to be going strong for many more, he has to keep Max Nibbler in line for one.
