"the naked ladies"

Cold, wet morning. Bus journey took 45mins instead of the usual 20-25, mainly thanks to roadworks. It took 10mins to go through a small industrial estate onto a bypass. Coming home, I ended up getting off the bus 5 stops early, and still got round the "roundabout" quicker than the bus.

Had an interactive study day at work today, to introduce new paperwork and concepts - great a longer lie. Free coffee, homemade biccies and lunch. To end with we had a quiz- with a prize for the winning team. My team was 'the naked ladies' due to the fact that our 'buzzer' was actually a brass bell with a naked lady on the top!!! Only one question was work related , about someone who was being seconded to another post for a year (promotion). Only one person appeared to know and got bonus points for calculating what the total would be in scrabble points. We only found out when question answered that one of my team mates was that person- she'd found out at coffee that she had been selected and had told her friend who was in the other team. The questions were varied and involved singing, acting, general knowledge and tv /movie questions. We only found out at the end that the prize was a bottle of wine each for the winning team. It's no fair!
