'Australian - Turkish Friendship Memorial'
A typical Melbourne all weather day today. 26 degrees when I left for work at around 7am this morning with a few light showers, by lunchtime it was a very humid 34 degrees and the sun was shining.
This memorial sits in the Kings Domain Gardens not far from the Shrine of Remembrance and on the Tan Track. It pays tribute to the friendship Australians share with the Turkish people dating back to the First World War.
Didn't stay out in the heat too long today, but thankfully the cool change has come through now and its a nice comfortable temp for sleeping.
