Ladybird, Ladybird
No sign in my garden of the real ladybirds, so I thought I'd capture my drawing pin ladybirds instead for Tiny Tuesday. I vaguely remembered the nursery rhyme about ladybirds, so thought I'd include it.
Ladybird, ladybird,
Fly away home,
Your house is on fire
And your children all gone;
All except one
And that's little Ann,
And she has crept under
The warming pan.
Mother Goose
I was surprised to see how traumatic the rhyme is, like others too. It shows how little we pay attention to the words as children.
Thanks to Walking Wombat for hosting the challenge for Tiny Tuesday in December.
