Do not forsake me oh my darling.

Doing a bit of ironing, shirts and the like, and put the TV on to see what was on to distract me from the tedious task.
High Noon was on, I caught the last 30 minutes or so. I can't remember how many years it's been since I watched this but it was made in 1952.
I used to love Westerns when I was younger and I suspect my Dad probably took me to see it, he often took me to the cinema.

I had totally forgotten what a very good film it is, a real study in crowd and human behaviour.
Loved it at the end when he takes his Sheriff star off and throws it to the ground to show his disgust at the towns folk. Then off he and his bride go, with their horse cart. Shame there wasn't a sunset in the West.
