apparently i have one eye that's good for distance and one that's good for the other - so they help each other out and as a result my vision's not too bad.

still. to make the visit worthwhile i'm having red glasses for driving and turquoise ones for reading, and pizza for supper.

these Father Christmas* muffins are tiny compared with the real thing...
* perhaps they've flown in from the US as they appear to be Santas.
