Post school, post swimming, post shower and PJs when I thought he would just collapse in an exhausted slump, he emerged from his playroom to present me with a hand written copy (from memory) of the nativity song year 3 are learning. Then I had my own personal rendition ....

He wanted me to sing along too, so we goggled the song, found the music (and also the music for all the songs his small local  Primary school are singing) and practised them all. 
The extra shows his song sheet. A few interesting 7-year old spellings, but overall, not bad......
