Dead Horse Creek...

... and Mt Cook.

We took a drive south today, planning to go for a walk. We didn't actually achieve the walk but we did get to Twizel and Mt Cook.

Lunch at The Hermitage, lots of snow and ice, lots of photo opportunities and a drive home with plenty of photo stops. Sadly both the Hooker Valley road and the Tasman Glacier road were shut.
