Getting Stuck In

Godwits on the beach (again). A calm morning. Bumped into an 'online friend' on the beach and had a good chat. It was actually her birthday and I'd earlier wished her an online Happy Birthday so it was nice to meet her in person on the sands.
Sadly the good weather didn't last and, as forecast, the rain swept in by the middle of the afternoon and was thoroughly wet and windy by the time of the Christmas Lights switch on. Rather than singing round the tree we did manage a few songs in the shelter of the Town Hall entrance and then most of us moved to the Lothian Dance Academy round the corner where there was a dance exhibition on from the students and some mulled wine and stollen cake. And the woman that runs the school asked us to sing a bit too, so we did a few songs there as well. A successful evening in spite of the weather!
