What an amazing night sky!

That is something you can only get in the mountains (or, for example, under a NZ sky...)!

Djeili, Philipp and I wanted some solitude, and we found it in the Rotondo hut at 2570m deep in the swiss mountains. We had the hut and kilometers around for ourselves, heated the winter room with a wood stove that we also used to melt snow for drinking water and our dinner pasta dish. 
The landscapes were fantastic and the snow artistically formed by the wind (see extra), but the real spectacle happened at night. Fantastic!!!
A sight like this can belittle you so much. 

And following that the three of us huddled together, Djeili dreaming of jumping around in the snow, and digging and chasing ice and snowballs.
