Chasing rainbows

Just before dusk, as l was driving along, there was a short, sharp deluge of rain: as heavy and intense as l've ever known.
It didn't last long, maybe only 15 minutes but it was enough for the drains to struggle for a while.
Suddenly l saw this rainbow, so vivid and bright. I must have stopped the car six time to try and take a photograph but ether it faded (only to return when l started driving again) or something was marring my view. Eventually l stopped in a lay by and captured this.
Not a full arc ( which my daughter did see from her viewpoint on the other side of the river) but the colour was amazing and there was just the hint if a double rainbow.
