Kereru

Went for a brisk walk around the gardens after work & spotted this Kereru (New Zealand native wood pigeon).
It was sitting in this rather spiky looking plant busily eating little yellow flowers.
I have to say the motivation to post a photo a day here is rather good for the exercise.
