The Frosty Pine
Continuing on my "frosty" theme; today started out a bit like yesterday but the landscape wasn't quite as transformed with the lacy ice crystals and the frost was vanishing quickly in the morning sun when I ventured out with the dog for our morning walk.
As a matter of fact, the melting ice actually sounded so much like raindrops that I was confused for a few seconds. I chose to capture a pic of this frosted pine standing just to the side of my driveway, which I had neglected to photograph yesterday.
I can't really explain why, but for some reason, when I look at this photo, it reminds me of Florida. Hmmmm.
“But frost, like the crystallized dreams of autumn, began to coat the clearing with its sugar glaze.”
