Faded Time

Out this morning with Finlay and we went in to the Bramham Estate (if only because the paths are mostly made up and free of mud!).

Quite hard meeting people asking why I only have one dog with me - it was bound to happen and I suppose in time all the regular dog-walkers will know!

The photo is of the dilapidated sundial on the outside of the building known as Bramham Biggin (previuosly blipped here).

The motto on the top of the dial appears to read INSISTO SOL SOLIS, but apart from the SOL / sun reference I have no idea what it means (my schoolboy Latin is no help). 

Early blip today as I am off to fetch our granddaughter this afternoon - she is coming to stay until Saturday - yay!
