Ilha Grande

For my birthday, I asked to go somewhere and surprise me. Daniel knows how much I love adventures so he decided to take me to Ilha Grande (Big Island) which is about two hours from Rio and Daniel has never been. There are no cars on the island and it is an UNESCO world heritage site and a preserved rain forest. You take a 20 minute ferry and there is only one small village.
