Anyone for tea?

Friend June asked me to take some photos of the novelty tea cosies a friend of hers had knitted. She wanted to email them (the photos, not the tea cosies) to her daughter in Australia.

In case you struggle to identify them - I did! - they are, clockwise from top left: cherries, moon in a starry sky, bee with no eyes (yet!) and carrots.

Order now for Christmas!

Back to wild winds and heavy rain today, which makes me even more thankful for yesterday's decent weather.

Unfortunately I've to go out tonight, to a local library staff Christmas dinner. It was kind of them to invite me, since I retired more than four years ago, but on such a miserable night I'd rather... No, I'll be fine once I get there and see everyone!
