Misty mountains

The weather was very different today - sleet that turned to snow with low cloud cover all day. Under that low cloud cover the mountain tops are covered in snow - see the extra photo. The weather did not really matter as Gavin and I had planned to go to a town down the valley that has a retail park with many shops where we could get all the bits and pieces we needed - including another iPhone charger! We had a very successful day shopping and found everything we needed  - in fact we saw many beautiful things that we did not need, but thankfully we were restrained by the high Swiss Franc.

We then spent the rest of the afternoon sorting out glasses and crockery in the kitchen, and finalising all the other little chores that needed doing and I am just putting up some Christmas lights and then we are done! We are about to enjoy a cheeky glass of bubbly and then will go out for supper. We leave very early tomorrow morning to go back home again, but will be back with all the boys a few days before Christmas.
