Winter sunrise

Taken not first thing, in fact at nearly 9am, on my way back from feeding and cleaning out the hens.  

Amazingly they are still laying nearly an egg each a day!  They are a breed called Lohmann Browns, bred specifically to be prolific layers, as well as being docile and friendly. The perfect hen!

Working in the shop this morning, but not a single customer came through the door . . . hardly surprising, given the weather!
