An Early Night

With my book! Today has been nothing special - a truly ordinary day.

At lunchtime I popped out to buy something Henry had added to my shopping list - 'glacier cherries' it made me chuckle - he is making a cherry and almond cake tomorrow evening for scouts on Friday. There will be competition in our very small kitchen tomorrow as I am supposed to be baking a cake for Mollie's birthday! We also have food shopping to fit in during the evening too. So an early night now might give me the energy to get through it!

Home at 6 and nothing much done this evening, apart from a few more Christmas cards written. That job can wait until after the weekend I've decided.
