Tadpole Feeding Frenzy

I've been feeding the taddies for a few weeks now. As you can see some are quite advanced with legs and well-developed eyes. They'll quite easily get through half of one of those 'gourmet' size tins of cat food (17p from Aldi, chicken pate seems to be their favourite). As a matter of fact, they're so vigorous that the lumps of food end up sinning round at a great rate. Piranhas have nothing on them!

The other half is left for the resident allotment fox, who was on fine form yesterday, grabbed the tin, before I had the chance to empty it out for him, a quick nosy about the shed, then calmly watched me as from just a couple of feet away as I gathered all my belongings together.
