Rugelach a Christmas necessity

First of all my family background is British isles and no one in my family ever made these amazing little goodies! I found this recipe in a cookbook and it was love at first bite! Personally I think scones are the best thing that ever came out of Scotland but I can't say those were a family tradition either. So my Christmas cookies consist of cutter cookies the only family tradition ( Great Aunt Agnes's recipe). , polish rugelach,Greek honey anise twists , pizelles, Sicilian fig cookies Shortbread! , and the killer midnight crackles and chocolate chips out my ears. A veritable mixed bag or melting pot if you will.
