Erik Satie

I am very familiar with Satie's Troi Gymnopedies and Six Gnossiennes, naturally featured in this set, and would readily recommend it to anyone. They are both so common in popular culture already that those moods and tunes should be quite recognisable.

When listening to this music I feel I'm in some film noir. Mysterious, unnerving, sexy, melancholic all at the same time it has captured the imaginations of other musicians who have arranged it for various instrument combinations. Today, it keeps me company and soothes the strain of a heavy work day.
