Killing Time
Went to Southmead Hospital in Bristol this morning with my friend Ian. We knew that there would be some hanging about, we've been there before but separately, and that we wouldn't always be together when hanging about so I thought I'd better take a book.
This one is the book I got from Daniel, Joanne, lennon and Dhylan for my birthday.
Turning out to be a very good story, I've never read any Horowitz before and I'm quite impressed.
When Fleming died the first book after his death was 'Colonel Sun', started by Fleming and finished by Robert Markham (really Kingsley Amis). I vowed I would never read another Bond book that was not written by Fleming but over the years I did acquiesce and I've read 3 or 4. The only one I have been disappointed with was the one written by Sebastian Faulks, 'Devil May Care'.
I think I might have to go back to the post Fleming books and start with Colonel Sun when I've finished 'Trigger Mortis'.
