The Elusive Bullfinch

I'm so glad to have blipped this Bullfinch today as I've not seen all that many recently;  usually they flock in quite large numbers but so far this year I've only seen a few pairs.  I didn't go out until mid afternoon again due to rain, the weather has been so challenging for everyone recently and I'm counting down to the shortest day.  I don't really like to wish time away, goodness knows it goes quickly enough  -  I suppose I should find a way of enjoying our damp grey weather.
