Zeke and Sugar

We brought Zeke and Sugar over to winter on our pasture. We had to make a big decision this weekend and we're still sad and upset about it. Dooley now belongs to someone else. At 19 months old it was time to take his training a lot further than we were capable of doing. He is such a beautiful young stud and it will soon be time for him to get saddle trained and learn lots of new things. We didn't think it would be fair to him to not give him the training he needs. The folks that have him now seem to be good people and we have an open invitation to come and see him anytime. They have 40 acres and other young colts and the time and the youth to train him properly. He will be sorely missed but I'm sure he will turn into a magnificent adult.

So Sugar is Dooley's mother (I bet you can tell who she is) and Zeke is our big handsome boy.
