The Moffat Ram
We popped down to Moffat today to meet up with some old friends who are on holiday in Scotland. We had a lovely day chatting over lunch although the weather was once again not up to much. This statue of a Blackface ram and the fountain below it were donated to the town of Moffat by businessman William Colvin in 1875. The sculpture was William Brodie (of Greyfriar's Bobby fame)
