Comfort: coffee with R

We just saw each other at the party last night but managed a rare spontaneous coffee this morning ...talking about how old we (the book club) seem to be getting as well as the latest movies and plans.  It was absolutely pouring outside -we were totally drenched by the time we got home , there were rivers of water on the sidewalks...had to ring out my running  shoes... it's all worth it to have such a good friend.  (and I really liked this picture of R much better than the "dressed up" ones from last night's book club Xmas Party)
