pure mince...
First stop today was the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, and the chest specialist. It was fascinating to see the result of my recent CT scan on his screen - very high resolution indeed. I did embarass myself by asking what the large blob between my lungs was - he responded: "er, that's your heart" At least he had the decency to refrain from rolling his eyes upwards. Actually he was a top bloke (if that's not too patronising for a consultant doctor) and he diagnosed my problem as 'bronchiectasis' Aye, that's easy for you to say I thought...
It's not really a problem, apart from my inability to pronounce the damn thing, so I'll just go on as before.
Next up was a trip into the city on the upstairs front seat of a double-decker bus - what fun!!
As you can see, the rain was tipping down and causing everybody to grumble. This parlour in the picture was seriously inconvenienced - it could only offers 'Toos' instead of the normal 'tattoos'
I hope the sun is shining wherever you are, and apologies for moaning about the weather here - I've just read the news about the storms in Nth East USA. I hope you are all safe over there.
