War Memorial
Had a job in Wareside, Herts to look at today.
Wareside is a small village and civil parish about 3 miles from 'Ware' in Hertfordshire (where it probably took its name from).
The village has one church, one school (the site I was working at today) and two pubs.
Probably the kind of town where everyone knows each other by name.
Just 40 minutes or so from where I live, but it couldn't be any different.
This War memorial on the edge of the village is to commemorate all those from the village that served in the great war.
A lovely backdrop of rolling countryside, which looked beautiful despite the impending rain storm - which I managed to avoid by about 10 minutes.
