Daffodil

Walked into town today to do a three hour stint collecting for the SCBU at our local hospital. This is following on from collecting for the Chemotherapy unit (last year ) which is up and running and very well received by those undergoing treatment. The new unit is light and airy and much, much more user friendly.  Now the Special Care Baby Unit needs new bits and bobs over and above what the NHS can provide so we are collecting for these.  
On walking home I came across this single daffodil in full bloom on the side of the road. There are other buds waiting to open soon.....A bright spot of colour along the edge of the walkway!
