The Salty

This morning we had a red sky and then flat skies. Later on as we came back from shopping there were some big clouds looking great over the river. Sadly, by the time I got out that was all gone and looking out from Shaldon Bridge there was barely a scrap of light. Mono was the way to go as there wasn't much colour in the scene at all.

We had a good evening yesterday. A lovely meal at the Thatched Tavern where some romantic fool at the next table got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend and got a round of applause for it. After that we went on to the Spinning Wheel in Paignton where we saw The SimmerTones, a 9 piece ska band. Lots of energy and great fun.
