Cake!

A visitor this afternoon, and so the rest of last week's delicous cake was brought out again - it's got everything in it! Except flour. Tasted even better than last week. Actually, it's a wonder it's still there, me having shared the house with it for a whole week.

But I was under strict instructions every day not to touch it.

So was Archie this afternoon.

The coffee and cake were followed by G&Ts, fish'n'chips and watching a film - The Railway Man, the amazing true story of Eric Lomax, who was a POW in Thailand. Turns out, he was the father of a friend of our visitor!
